May 22 at 16:50 to the Rescue Service 101 reported that on the street. Zaporozhye in Uzhgorod, found a metal object that looks like a mortar mine. A dangerous find was discovered near a local building during construction work. Pyrotechnics Special Purpose Emergency Rescue Squad identified the item as a 82 mm mortar. During the survey of the surrounding area, no more dangerous findings were detected. Subsequently, a mortar mine was removed and destroyed in a designated area. In total, since the beginning of the year, 592 explosive items were removed and destroyed by the SES of Transcarpathia.
