Brighton's Sussex Square was cordoned off this afternoon after the discovery of an unexploded Second World War bomb. Initial reports suggested the bomb was found in the basement of the EF International Language school. The Argus understands builders are currently rennovating the property. UPDATE: The square has been re-opened. Police on the scene say the bomb was an old mortar that posed no danger. It was in fact found on the third floor.
