During the last day, on May 17, pyrotechnic calculations of the SES of Ukraine verified the terrain in the Popasnian and Novoaydar districts. In total, 4.45 hectares of the territory of the region were surveyed, where 36 units of explosive objects were found and removed, namely: 13 artillery shells, 18 mortar mines, 2 hand grenades and 3 units of other explosive objects.
