At least 13 persons, including seven children and three women and Taliban forces each, were killed in clashes between the forces of the Islamic Emirate and Islamic State-Khorasan Province (IS-KP) in Police District 15 (PD15) of Herat city in Herat Province, reports Tolo News. With these reported killings the total number of persons killed in the incident rose to 17. Earlier, SATP has reported the killing of four IS-KP militants in the incident.
