Undefined Explosive Device (UED) event in Rajasthan, Sri Ganganagar District area, India on Tue 3rd November 2026
3rd November 2026
On November 3 night, an explosion damaged the Anupgarh-Suratgarh railway track in 50 GB village in Sri Ganganagar District of Rajasthan, prompting a multi-agency investigation into a suspected attempt at train sabotage, reports The Hindu. No casualties reported. A passenger train had passed through the stretch barely 45 minutes before the incident. The blast shattered two concrete railway sleepers beneath the tracks, dislodged the track clips and created a two-foot-deep crater at the site. The North-Western Railway cancelled four train services on the route on November 4, as a precautionary measure. Sri Ganganagar Superintendent of Police Harishankar Yadav said the teams from the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) had arrived to join the probe.
