18-year-old Demoso PDF female fighter killed by artillery strike at the foot of Loi Yin Mountain

At the foot of Loi Yin Mountain on the southern Shan State-Karenni border in the Mobye area, 18-year-old Elveline from Demoso PDF Battalion 1102 was killed after being hit by artillery fire.

She was killed on November 2. A responsible official from Demoso PDF Battalion 1102 told Kantarawaddy Times that she was not killed in combat but was struck by artillery shelling fired by the military.

It is reported that the funeral ceremony for the fallen Elveline was held yesterday, November 4.
