Pregnant woman killed due to bombing in Mrauk-U Township

Rakhine, November 5

A pregnant woman was killed after a fighter aircraft of the terrorist military dropped bombs on Nan Kyar village in Mrauk-U Township, Rakhine State, according to a report published today (November 6) by Deep Sigh.

The terrorist military bombed Nan Kyar village at approximately 11:30 p.m. yesterday (November 5).

Following this airstrike, a pregnant woman died.

Similarly, six men and six women were injured, and Deep Sigh reported that one of those 12 injured persons is in critical condition.

The terrorist military has been carrying out daily bombing attacks on areas including Rakhine State, which is controlled by the Arakan Army, as well as Magway Region, Chin State, Bago Region, and Ayeyarwady Region. As a result, many civilians have been killed and extensive public property has been damaged and destroyed.

According to information released by the Human Rights Department of the National Unity Government, from February 1, 2021 through October 31, 2026, there were 6,653 airstrike incidents across Myanmar, with a total of 15,327 air attacks carried out by the terrorist military.

Similarly, the Human Rights Department reported that 6,467 people were killed as a result of these air attacks, including 853 children under the age of 18.
