On 16 October 2021, near Tee Ma village (Muse township, Muse district, Shan-North state), the KIA's brigade 6 attacked about 100 soldiers from the military's division 99 with landmines, according to the KIA. The KIA attacked as the Myanmar military advanced towards their area. Casualties unknown.
