On 24 October 2026, in Taung Yoe village (Myaing township, Pakokku district, Magway region), the Myanmar military conducted gyrocopter strikes and dropped bombs with three gyrocopters, which came from the direction of Nyaung-U, onto a farm hut at the edge of the forest at around 10:00 am. The gyrocopter strikes killed 3 civilians from the same family including a 60-year-old man, a 40-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman. 3 children of the hut owner's wife, including an 11-month-old baby, were injured. A house was damaged. 3 fatalities.
