On 24 October 2026, the Malian army claimed to have conducted an airstrike on a gathering point of a militant group holding motorcycles and logistical equipment (likely JNIM, based on the group's presence and previous similar operations against them in the Koulikoro cercle) 2km south-west of Kenekoun (Dinandougou, Koulikoro, Koulikoro). The army claimed that the position was 'successfully neutralized'. Casualties unknown.
