On October 18, three personnel of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were injured in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast near Singjamei Police Station in Imphal West District, Manipur, reports North East Now. The injured personnel were identified as C. Poonambalm (58), Ramesh Kumar (57) and Pabitra Kumar Jena (56). All three belong to E Company of the CRPF’s 189th Battalion, based at Kakwa Lamdaibung Lampak. No organisation had claimed responsibility for the blast at the time of reporting.
