Police busted an alleged Pakistan Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI)-backed arms and explosives network, arresting three persons—Navdeep Singh, Shehmool Singh and Sandeep Singh—and recovering a hand grenade, a Glock pistol and five live cartridges in Amritsar District on October 13, reports The Tribune. Their alleged accomplice, Harman, remains absconding. Preliminary investigations reportedly revealed links between the network, foreign-based smugglers and ISI operatives.
