At least 13 Pakistan Coast Guard (PCG) personnel were killed when the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA)’s maritime unit, the Hammal Maritime Defence Force (HMDF), attacked two PCG boats in the Jiwani area of Gwadar District in Balochistan on October 11, reports Zrumbesh. While claiming responsibility in a statement issued by BLA’s spokesperson, Jeeyand Baloch, the group said HMDF, carried out a “coordinated” attack that simultaneously targeted two large boats. It said the personnel were killed on the spot.
