Mine event in Seikphyu area, Myanmar on Thu 29th October 2026

A military convoy departing from Defense Products Factory (KaPaSa 22) in Seikphyu Township, Magway Region was attacked by revolutionary forces using directional mines and FPV drones, resulting in four military vehicles being burned and destroyed and large numbers of soldiers being killed and wounded, a local revolutionary source told the Khit Thit Media news agency.

On the morning of October 29, a military convoy that departed from KaPaSa 22, based in Seikphyu Township, and was heading toward Pauk Township, was attacked by revolutionary forces using directional mines near the Pe-khu-Nitpin junction on the Pathein-Monywa road section. Two military vehicles were burned and destroyed, and many soldiers aboard the vehicles were killed and wounded, it is reported.

A revolutionary source told Khit Thit Media:

“Yesterday, we hit the junta vehicles coming out of Seikphyu with directional mines. Two vehicles burned. It was near the border between Seikphyu and Pauk townships. We do not know exactly where they were heading. The junta troops who were killed, wounded, and injured in that attack were transported back to KaPaSa 22. The bodies were also buried inside KaPaSa 22.”
