A local resident killed in Myinmu Township after terrorist military gyrocopters dropped bombs

Sagaing, October 30

A local civilian was killed after four gyrocopters under the terrorist military dropped two bombs on Hle-U-Kan Village, located about seven miles from the Monywa-Mandalay road section in Myinmu Township, Sagaing Region, according to two local sources who spoke to Red Peacock News Media.

At around 11:00 a.m. today (October 30), four gyrocopters from the Northwestern Regional Military Command in Monywa bombed Hle-U-Kan Village.

One local source said, “An elderly man died. The bombs were not dropped in just one place.”

Another local source said, “They did not bomb only one location. From what I know, the person who died was a woman. Two bombs were dropped. One civilian is in critical condition. There were also other casualties.”

According to information provided by an airstrike monitoring source, four terrorist military gyrocopters bombed Nyaungpinkan Village, Yonekar Village, and Hle-U-Kan Village, killing two civilians and one cow, while destroying two school buildings and three civilian houses.

The Myanmar Lawyers Council stated on September 14 that, from 2021 through this year, 2026, the terrorist military had carried out 10,500 airstrikes nationwide, resulting in the deaths of more than 6,000 civilians.

The Myanmar Lawyers Council also pointed out that responsibility for these airstrikes lies with both the terrorist military and the government responsible for the terrorist military.
