On 11 October 2021, in Yinmarbin township (Yinmarbin district, Sagaing region), the Yinmarbin PDF attacked the Myanmar military troops advancing towards the east of the town with two trucks and 15 motorcycles. The Yinmarbin PDF attacked them with landmines. Afterwards, the Myanmar military fired gunshots. DVB reported that at least 20 military soldiers died. VOA reported that at least 30 military soldiers were injured and died. Fatalities coded as 20.
