On 20 October 2026, in the morning, a Russian drone struck near the Kyiv-Odesa highway near Chabany, Kyiv, and a shopping centre of the city, killing 3 civilians and injuring at least 4 others. Two cars caught fire, and a shuttle bus carrying passengers to the National Military Memorial Cemetery was damaged. Its driver was among those killed; the passengers were unharmed.
