On 20 October 2026, Russian forces attacked with drones Zaporizhzhia, Zaporizhia, and its outskirts. A strike on a warehouse injured a 38-year-old man in the arm, a 44-year-old man in the eye, and a 53-year-old woman who sustained a shrapnel injury. The 38-year-old man was treated at the scene, while the 44-year-old man was referred to hospital. In a separate attack, an FPV drone struck the roof of a municipal bus, damaging the vehicle and injuring 1 person. Another drone struck a firefighters' tank vehicle on the outskirts of the city as firefighters returned from extinguishing a fire, damaging the vehicle. The fire crew were unharmed. Overall, 4 civilians were injured.
