On 12 October 2021, in Moke Pa Lin village (Kyaikto township, Thaton district, Mon state), the KRF attacked a convoy of military forces with landmines on the Mawlamyine- Yangon road. Seven military soldiers were killed and four others were injured, according to the KRF.
