UAV event in Ukraine on Mon 19th October 2026

On 19 October 2026, overnight and in the morning, Russian forces attacked Irpin, Kyiv, with unspecified weapon (coded as air/drone strike), striking a residential area and industrial premises and causing fires. Two direct impacts were reported around 06:00, one at an enterprise and another at a private house. A woman was killed and 19 people were injured, including 9 children; the deceased woman's 2 children were hospitalized. Approximately 70 private houses, 5 apartment buildings, 7 vehicles, production and warehouse premises, and a kindergarten were damaged, including roofs, windows, doors, and fences. Russian missiles directly struck the Planeta Plastik factory, causing substantial destruction; all employees survived. Residential fires were extinguished and a warehouse fire was contained, while repeated air alerts interrupted firefighting. Gas and electricity were temporarily disconnected at impact sites.
