On 19 October 2026, SAF drone strikes targeted the RSF and Al Jalabi prison in Ed Daein (Ad Duayn, East Darfur). 5-26 people were killed, and 20 were injured (including civilians). After 400-1000 prisoners escaped, the RSF transferred the remaining prisoners to an unspecified location, then closed the area around the prison and targeted locations inside the city. SFA claimed 19 civilians were killed and 21 were wounded.
