On 21 October 2026, the Malian army claimed to have conducted an airstrike on a vehicle used by a militant group (likely ISSP, based on the group's presence in the Menaka commune and previous similar operations against it in the area) 37km south-east of Menaka (Menaka, Menaka, Menaka). The army claimed that the vehicle was 'precisely hit' and destroyed. Casualties unknown.
