On 17 October 2026, in Montebello (Cali, Valle del Cauca), unidentified individuals detonated an explosive device on the road to the Las Tres Cruces, Guacas sector, injuring three police officers who were patrolling the area. Another officer who was carrying out a controlled detonation of an explosive device in another sector of the locality was injured as the device detonated. There were no fatalities.
