UAV event in Ukraine on Tue 13th October 2026

On 13 October 2026, Russian forces carried out drone strikes, including with a fiber-optic FPV drone, on Sumy, Sumy, damaging warehouses in the Kovpakivskyi and Zarichnyi boroughs and causing a fire at one location. After 16:00, strikes damaged and set fire to a truck and a parked car near residential buildings in Kovpakivskyi borough, including during a repeat attack while firefighters were responding. No civilian casualties were reported in these incidents. Russian forces also struck Ukrainian personnel and equipment in the area with an unspecified weapon. According to Russian sources, more than 185 Ukrainian soldiers were killed in the areas of Prykolotne, Kotivka, Hohyne, Kurhanne, Fedorivka, Malyi Burluk, Khatnie, Rubizhne, Velyki Prokhody, Buhaivka, Izbytske, Velykyi Burluk, Velyka Rybytsia, Mykilske, Barylivka, Kucherivka, Hlukhiv, and Sumy.
