On 13 October 2026, at approximately 12:45, Russian forces carried out an airstrike with a FAB-250 bomb on Slovyansk, Donetsk, destroying a civilian assistance center hosting the relocated Lyman branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross and damaging 5 nearby apartment buildings. Eight civilians were injured, including 7 women aged 33, 46, 49, 51, 52, 53 and 76. Four Ukrainian Red Cross representatives were among the injured: 3 were hospitalized with shrapnel wounds and burns, and another sustained a concussion. The resulting fire also damaged the organization's property.
