On 13 October 2026, at approximately 05:20, Russian forces carried out guided aerial bomb strikes on Dnipro, Dnipropetrovsk, injuring a 64-year-old man and damaging transport infrastructure, 2 apartment buildings, a school and parked cars. A Ukrainian military analyst suggested that Russian forces may have used the new UMPB-5R jet-powered glide bomb, although the exact munition remained unconfirmed. Separate attacks with an unspecified weapon later that day caused fires, including an attack at approximately 15:30.
