Five days ago, two improvised bombs were discovered in Barangay Manggal, Sumisip town; one in a grassy area outside a construction site and another near a pineapple farm. One was made out of an 81-mm mortar, while the other a milk can. Gobway said the bombs were intended for extortion allegedly by an Abu Sayyaf subgroup led by a certain Pasip Bayali.
