On 8 October 2021, the Ethiopian National Defense Force (ENDF) continued to attack the Tigray People's Liberation Front (TPLF) through multiple airstrikes in areas near the towns of Wurgessa (coded separately), and of Wegeltena (Delanta, South Wello, Amhara) and on the road linking Afar region to Amhara region (coded separately). Casualties unknown. The airstrikes started on 7 October 2021.
