On 12 October 2026, according to Russian sources, Russian forces carried out Geran drone strikes on locomotives used by Ukrainian forces in Pyatykhatky, Dnipropetrovsk. The Russian MoD claimed that 4 locomotives were struck across Odesa, Kryvyi Rih, and Pyatykhatky. Casualties unknown.
