On 12 October 2026, in Hnget Pyaw Taw village (Kyaikto township, Thaton district, Mon state), the Myanmar military (LID-44) conducted drone strikes twice on the village between noon and 3:00 pm, without an armed clash occurring. A house, a car and a motorcycle were destroyed. 3 civilians (a man, a 26-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman) were killed and another was injured. 3 fatalities.
