In addition, local residents told the Yangon Khit Thit news agency that civilians in Wetlet Township, Sagaing Region, were also forced to flee after the terrorist military indiscriminately shelled villages with heavy weapons.

Beginning at around 5:00 p.m. on October 26, the military, which is stationed at Hla Taw Village in the western part of Wetlet Township, reportedly fired heavy weapons indiscriminately, forcing residents from nearby villages to seek safety.

“Starting yesterday evening, the military dogs were firing heavy weapons indiscriminately, so residents near Hla Taw Village had to flee. I have not heard of any casualties,” said a local resident.
