Indaw Township, near Ma-U Kone Village, hundreds of terrorist military troops surrendered their weapons

In Sagaing Region, Indaw Township, near Ma-U Kone Village, hundreds of members of the terrorist military forces surrendered their weapons after being surrounded and attacked by revolutionary forces, at least two local news sources told Red Peacock News Media.

Yesterday (October 26), terrorist military personnel located near Ma-U Kone Village surrendered their weapons to the revolutionary forces.

That terrorist military column had established a base in Kyaung Kone Village and was attempting to control the Indaw–Htigyaing road section.

A local news source said:

“They say the SAC commander and the tactical commander were also captured alive. They were trying to stay in Kyaung Kone.”

Another local news source said that the terrorist military is still carrying out daily bombing attacks on Indaw Township:

“There have also been indiscriminate attacks on the surrounding villages. They say the aircraft keep dropping bombs on their original points without distinguishing anything. The arrival of the aircraft is terrifying. Just this morning they came and bombed from the air. They also strafed with machine guns.”

According to another local news source, today (October 27) aircraft under the terrorist military, including a K-8W operating from Homalin Air Base, as well as an Mi-35 attack helicopter, bombed areas in and around Indaw Township and also fired machine guns.
