On 6 October 2021, a landmine, presumably Houthi, exploded in Tibbat al Qarn west of Jabal Han (At Taiziyah, Taizz) killing 2 civilians and injuring 2 more. According to sources, the 4 civilians were a part of a mediating committee tasked with retrieving the bodies of pro-Hadi fighters that fell during their recent clash with Houthi forces in the area.
