A civilian woman was killed and two others were injured on Friday after the military junta conducted another airstrike on Pan Nila Village in Arakan State's Ponnagyun Township.

The deceased has been identified as 44-year-old Daw Hla Shwe Tin, a resident of the village. Among the two injured survivors, 62-year-old Daw Ma Aye Nu sustained an injury below her left upper arm, while 25-year-old Ko Aung Lin Soe suffered wounds to the right side of his ribcage.

Locals told Narinjara that a military junta jet fighter carried out the bombing today, October 23, at 2:03 PM.

"The bombs landed near the Pan Nila school. One civilian was killed, and two others were injured," a resident stated.

Pan Nila Village was previously targeted by airstrikes on October 5.

Earlier today, a separate junta airstrike resulted in the deaths of Ma Khine Thazin Soe, a Grade 12 student, and 54-year-old Daw Hla May Thein. Both victims were internally displaced persons (IDPs). Two other displaced civilians also sustained injuries in that attack.

Additionally, shortly after 5:00 PM on October 4, the military junta conducted an airstrike on the Byala displacement camp in Ponnagyun Township, reportedly killing six IDPs and injuring more than ten others.
