On 6 October 2021, in Pathein town (Pathein township, Pathein district, Ayeyarwady region), the military-owned MyTel telecom tower in Nga Kye Htu ward was bombed and destroyed. There were no casualties. The Pathein Special Task Force (PSTF) reported that they did the bombing in cooperation with Delta Guerrilla Warfare Collective Forces.
