One civilian killed after paramotor bombing near villages in Mindon Township

According to Ko Myat, the information and communications officer of Thayet District Battalion No. 4, civilians were killed and injured after the terrorist military carried out a paramotor bombing attack between Ywar Thit Village and Ngat Pyin Village in Mindon Township, Magway Region, Red Peacock News Media reported.

Yesterday (October 22), at around 5:00 p.m., three paramotors from KaPaSa (12) based in Thayet dropped nine bombs on civilians who were travelling and working for their livelihoods between Ywar Thit Village and Ngat Pyin Village in Mindon Township.

As a result of this airstrike, an innocent civilian from Kyo Wa Village, Maung Phoe La Min (25 years old), was killed. In addition, U Kyi Win (62 years old) and U Aung Myaing (47 years old), both residents of Kyo Wa Village, sustained injuries.

Ko Myat, the information and communications officer of Thayet District Battalion No. 4, said:

“Kyo Wa, Ywar Thit, and Ngat Pyin are not very close to each other. The people who were injured are local residents of Kyo Wa. They were travelling for work and livelihood purposes. While they were travelling and resting for a while, the paramotor came and dropped bombs. Since they were people who travelled regularly every day, they probably did not think they would be bombed.”

Previously, on October 12, the terrorist military carried out a paramotor bombing attack on Mei Za Li Village in Mindon Township, resulting in the death of one civilian.
