Air Delivered event in Na Gar Pwet area, Myanmar on Mon 19th October 2026

On 19 October, four gyrocopters that took off from Nyaung-U Air Base bombed Northern Naga Pwet Village and Southern Yeshay Sitshaung Taw Taik in Myaing Township despite there being no fighting. During the attack, no civilians were injured, but houses and telecommunications towers were damaged. Approximately 500 local residents from Thitpaluwekon Village, Thazi Village, and Nhamsikan Village in southern Myaing Township have fled to safer places.

"They carried out bombing attacks despite there being no fighting. Although civilians were not injured as a result of the bombing attacks, houses and telecommunications towers were damaged. About 500 residents from Thitpaluwekon Village, Thazi Village, and Nhamsikan Village in southern Myaing Township have fled to safety. We want civilians to remain alert to the danger from military columns and air attacks," said a local resident.
