On 5 October 2021, a booby-trapped car planted by an unknown armed group exploded near a checkpoint in Suluk area in Ar Raqqa countryside, while JWS backed Ahrar al Sharqiyah who operates under OPS managed to detain two men who detonated it. There were no fatalities.
