On 3 October 2021, near Wun Pyin village (Pale Township, Yinmarbin District, Sagaing Region), the Pale PDF ambushed the Myanmar military troops with about 16 landmines. The Radio Free Asia quoted Pale PDF and reported that at least 25 military soldiers died.
