On 13 October 2026, in Barrancabermeja (Santander), unidentified perpetrators detonated a fragmentation grenade near Camilo Torres Restrepo, injuring three civilians, one underage girl included. Of the injured civilians, one woman was injured in the chest and back, a man was injured in the legs, and the underage girl was stunned by the blast wave. The reasons behind the assault are unknown. There were no fatalities.
