Other MoA event in Dubove area, Ukraine on Sat 17th October 2026

During October 17 and the night of October 18, the Ukrainian military struck three Russian army targets in the temporarily occupied parts of the Luhansk and Donetsk regions.

This was reported on Facebook by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In particular, the Defense Forces attacked a repair base for automotive equipment and armored combat vehicles of the "South" group of troops near the city of Sukhodilsk in the Luhansk region.

"The damage makes it difficult to restore damaged equipment and return it to combat units at the front," the General Staff explained.

In addition, the Ukrainian military again struck a place of storage, preparation and launch of attack UAVs of the Russian army near Donetsk. This location was already attacked by the Defense Forces in late September and early October 2026, namely on October 15 , October 14 , October 9 , October 7 , October 5 , October 4, October 3 , October 1 , as well as on September 28 , September 27 and September 23 .

"This reduces the enemy's ability to attack the territory of Ukraine and civilian infrastructure with drones of various modifications."

The General Staff also reported the defeat of a concentration of manpower of one of the Russian army units near Dubove in the occupied Donetsk region.
