A food delivery worker for an app-based service was arrested by officers from the Mexico City Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) after stabbing the occupants of a private vehicle during an altercation in the Coyoacán borough. According to police reports, the confrontation took place in front of the Galerías Coapa shopping center and began following a traffic incident between the driver of a white vehicle and a motorcyclist who worked for a digital delivery platform. The argument escalated into an act of violence on a public street. Following the initial incident, the delivery worker reportedly called for backup from other colleagues, who arrived at the scene and surrounded the private vehicle to prevent it from continuing on its way.
