[T]he Mon State Revolutionary Force (MSRF) announced that it had attacked the entrance gate of the terrorist military's Light Infantry Battalion No. 31 (LIB-31) in Ye Township, Mon State.

At approximately 11:30 p.m. on October 9, Mon State Revolutionary Force Company 1 carried out a guerrilla-style attack against Light Infantry Battalion No. 31, which is based in Khaw Zar Town.

The attack specifically targeted the battalion's entrance gate. Following the attack, resistance forces were able to withdraw successfully at around 11:45 p.m.

The extent of military casualties resulting from the attack was still under investigation and had not yet been confirmed.
