Missile event in Kyiv, CHP-6 Power Plant area, Ukraine on Tue 13th October 2026
13th October 2026
Approximate flight routes of the missiles used in tonight's large-scale, combined Russian missile and drone attack on Ukraine.
The primary target was energy infrastructure, with power plants and electrical substations being hit across Kyiv and Kharkiv Oblasts.
The following missiles were used:
~16 Iskander-M ballistic missiles launched from Bryansk and Belgorod Oblasts.
~6 RM-48U modified S-400 ballistic missiles launched from Bryansk Oblast.
~6 Oniks-M supersonic cruise missiles launched from Kursk Oblast.
~4 Zircon hypersonic cruise missiles launched from Rostov and Kursk Oblasts.
~32 missiles in total.
Additionally, another 2-4 Tornado-S rockets were launched from Belgorod Oblast.
As of the time of writing, I can only confirm the interception of approximately 2 Oniks-M supersonic cruise missiles near Kyiv. It's likely that the other 30 missiles impacted their targets.
Targets hit include the CHP-4, CHP-5, and CHP-6 Combined Heat and Power Plants in Kyiv; the TEC-5 and Zmiivska Thermal Power Plants in Kharkiv Oblast; the Trypillya Thermal Power Plant in Kyiv Oblast; and the "Kyivska" 750 kV electrical substation in Kyiv Oblast. It's also likely that the Darnytsia Locomotive Depot in Kyiv was hit by RM-48U S-400s again.
