At least 47 persons, believed to be Shia devotees, were killed in a suicide bombing attack at Imam Bargah Fatimeyah mosque in Police District one (PD1) of Kandahar city in Kandahar Province, reports Associated Press. The Taliban’s chief for Kandahar’s department of Culture and Information, Hafiz Sayeed, said that 47 people had been killed and at least 70 wounded in the attack.
