On October 8, a Taliban guard attached to Robat District Governor was killed when remote control mine detonated in Chaparhar District of Nangarhar Province, reports Shamshad News. The incident happened when the Rodat District Governor was going to Rodat from Khogyani District. The Islamic Emirate sources have not confirmed the case yet, and no one has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
