On August 16, an IED exploded at a madrasa in Kuchlak town (Quetta, Balochistan) killing at least four people including a prayer leader and brother of an Afghan Taliban leader and injuring twenty two others including the son of the Taliban leader. The explosion caused extensive damage to the walls and ceiling of the seminary.
