UEMS / Ammunition Depot event in Donetsk, Kuibyshevskyi area, Ukraine on Wed 25th September 2019

The explosions occurred and the fire has begun in Kuibyshevskyi district of temporarily occupied Donetsk on September 25 as Ostrov reported. According to the message, the high smoke plume rose over the city and the explosions were heard. The local citizens state that the ammunition explode; however, the militants do not specify the object of the burning. The reasons of the fire are unknown. Related: Self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic ready for prisoner swap with Ukraine Officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Anatoliy Shtefan confirmed on Facebook that the powerful explosion took place at the ammunition depot. “Suddenly, the ammunition depot exploded in occupied Donetsk,” he wrote. Separatist new agency reported that the fire continues. The roads to the place of the incident are blocked and the workers of the Emergency Service of the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic could not comment on the situation.
