On October 6, a 14-year-old boy named Kamrul Hasan was injured when a crude bomb, mistaken for a toy by his classmate, Junayed, exploded in the Phedulla Bepari Kandi area of Purba Naodoba Union, under Padma Setu Dakshin Police Station in Zajira Upazila (Sub-District) of Shariatpur District, reports The Daily Star. Sub-Inspector Saiduzzaman of Padma Setu Dakshin Police Station stated that Junayed spotted an object wrapped in adhesive tape by the roadside while on his way to school this morning.
