The terrorist military bombed the Pan Ni La IDP camp and the civilian-inhabited village of Aung Hpyu Pyin in AA-controlled Ponnagyun Township, Rakhine State, this morning (October 5) using jet fighters, according to Deep Sigh.
At around 10:00 AM today, military jet fighters carried out the bombing runs on both the Pan Ni La IDP camp and Aung Hpyu Pyin village.
The attack destroyed the Ah Gyi Clinic buildings within the Pan Ni La IDP camp, injuring 18-year-old Khine Thazin Soe in the head. Additionally, 54-year-old Than Myat Chay (a native of Kun Taung village sheltering in Aung Hpyu Pyin) sustained a right chest wound, while 54-year-old Hla May Thein from San Pya Ward in Ponnagyun Town suffered fatal head injuries.
This follows an earlier airstrike on Aung Hpyu Pyin village just days prior on October 2, which had injured three sheltering individuals: 32-year-old Daw Khin Wai Soe (from Pyaung Htan village), 17-year-old Kyaw Moe Lwin (from Kyaw Zan village), and 17-year-old local resident Aung Min.
